The Council of ICSI has approved that No. of Trainees to be taken at a time by various agencies for imparting training to CS Students should not be more than the limit given in the under mentioned table :
Further Council has also decided that :
(i) Henceforth only such Law firms which are minimum 5 years old and having minimum 5 partners shall be registered to impart the training. Students who are currently undergoing training in law firms shall be allowed to complete their training. Law firms which are already registered with Institute for imparting training shall be allowed to continue to engage trainees but revised criteria of maximum limit of two trainees per partner at a time shall be applicable to them also.
(ii) Henceforth Consultancy firms shall not be registered for imparting training. Students who are currently undergoing training in Consultancy firm shall be allowed to complete their training. But fresh students shall not be sponsored for undergoing training to the consultancy firms which are already registered with the Institute for imparting training.
